🔥 Enhance Performance with NGK Iridium IX Spark Plugs TR55IX # 7164 Review

I've used the first 8 NGK Iridium spark plugs for just over 100,000 miles. I know it's time to replace them if my truck won't start the first time. With new spark plugs, my truck runs normally again.

When I received these spark plugs I called tech support because I noticed the heat range number is a lot hotter than stock. I was assured by tech support that they have a different numbering system and match the standard numbers. They weren't.

Installed on my 2006 F150 4.6 2 valve V8 along with MSD BLASTER COILS. Super smooth idle, better pickup and smoother automatic transmission shifts. Just installed so will issue an update if things don't last. Definitely recommended.

Really brings the truck to life. I can not believe that! They paired with MSd blaster coils completely transformed my 4.6 liter F-150. Combined with tuning, intake and exhaust, I literally throw the 5.4 in the dirt. I'm amazed at how much performance can be extracted from 4.6 liter Fords with just a few quality parts and custom tuning.

Engine runs rough after installation. Worked 5 minutes and died. I waited until late and the same thing happened. I put an OBD gauge on it and it shows code PO300 indicating random misfires. It's all because these spark plugs don't fit my car, even though the Revain service ticket says "It fits your car."

Installed in 2007 Ford F150 4.6L. Ford didn't make it easy to change the spark plugs on this car. It took me about 2 hours on the driver's side and 1 hour on the passenger's side to remove the old spark plugs and put in the new ones. The candles are pre-drilled to the correct size, but I checked each one individually before installing them. The truck runs smoother and has better acceleration.

I installed them on my 1953 Chevy pickup. It has 350s from the 70s and those stubs make a big difference. I don't mean that it sounded 2% better, I mean it was VERY noticeable how much smoother it ran. I suspect that's because these plugs burn more efficiently so they get more power out of the available fuel, but whatever the reason, they're worth the money. And - Iridium is so hard I don't plan on changing spark plugs again for the rest of my trucking life, so money well spent.

Bought these spark plugs to replace platinum ones that lasted about 30,000 miles. the hardest material on the spark plug market. I expect at least 70,000 miles before replacement which I can't confirm only time will tell. However, I did notice a significant difference in performance. I replaced the spark plug coils with Summit high performance coils as I was still having occasional engine misfires after changing the spark plugs. Mileage per gallon.
