Perfect replacement for my 2010 Mazda 3

I am a big fan of NGK. I had 85,000 miles on my Mazda 3 when I installed them. I know this is not a "direct" OEM replacement, but when I first started the car after installing it, I noticed a very noticeable reduction in idle speed and vibration. The pickup is better, fuel economy has improved, and engine noise seemed a little lower. Gap was pre-installed, there were no problems installing it. Good product!

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • High price

Works as expected

Installed them on my Mazda CX-7 with a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder engine and they were fine. Even though they were "pre-gap", they were all different so I would recommend having a gap tool to pack the plugs properly. Since replacing the original spark plugs with these I have noticed a slight improvement in "liveliness" as the car probably runs like new because it is more responsive when you step on the pedal. Overall good value for the forks and they perform as expected.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Not as bold as other options

NGK are the only spark plugs I buy for any of my cars. From lawn mowers to chainsaws and outboard motors to every car and truck I own, NGK spark plugs have always performed better than any other spark plug I've tried. I installed them on a "new to us" 2012 Mazda 3S Grand Touring with a 2.5L engine and 53,000 miles with original spark plugs. These plugs fit perfectly and we immediately saw how smooth the car idled. On a test drive, throttle response and fuel economy improved slightly. Gap was…

Pros
  • High test results for grip and durability
Cons
  • This is driving me insane
