Description of NGK TE43 Premium Spark Plug

Set includes 4 wires (Coil Lead N/R). Variable pitch winding delivers ultra-low resistance, a powerful spark and outstanding EMI/RFI noise suppression. Numbered for easy cylinder identification and coil wires are color coded for correct and easy installation. Positive-locking, corrosion-resistant stainless steel terminal ends for tight fit and maximum resistance to vibration and separation. High-temp (250°+ C / 482°+ F) silicone outer jacket resists moisture, oil/petrol and cracking due to temperature extremes.

Better than cheap ones.

These were exchanged for a new set from ebay at half price but the car ran rough (spark plugs and distributors are also new). They fit better and the idle is smoother now.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Nothing here

Only buy standard Toyota vehicle plug wires.

I have found that I only need to purchase OEM engine electrical parts for my Toyota. Plug cords I bought at discount auto stores look exactly the same but don't work as smoothly. Still the same markings but the car just isn't as smooth.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Denso and NGK are what Toyota calls "OEM " for engines.

Denso and NGK call Toyota OEM for their vehicles. So you get OEM quality and they come in a very nice shade of blue so your engine bay gets some color too (if that's something you're into).

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Mostly ok, but...

Works and looks good

You can't go wrong with NGK. Replacing it fixed a sudden starting problem on a 1995 Toyota Camry 4cyl, not California. The old wires were snapped and shorted out somewhere. These wires are the perfect length. Be sure to replace one at a time to keep track of location on the distributor cap.

Pros
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Japanese parts at its finest.

Excellent fit and function. Spark plug sockets with internal clips slide smoothly and securely onto any spark plug, providing a secure, stable and secure connection. Each wire is individually numbered. Japanese product in all its glory. Much better in quality and price than the Denso counterpart. Buy NGK, not Denso. By the way, Revain's "Check if it fits your car" tool is wrong. This Spark Plug Wire Kit (NGK 8130/TE43) FITS 1994 Toyota Camry 2.2L 4 Cylinder Engine (Federal/Non-California). The…
