The connection to the coil is not long enough, be careful.

The only major drawback of this product is the part that connects to the coils. The connector is shorter and flush with the body. The OEM connector protrudes further and offers an opportunity to make a secure connection. For a 2000 6 cylinder 4runner 4x4 this connector is useless. Maybe this item is suitable for another car. I drive too much to hope these short plugs stay connected. Instead I bought a Delco. Check the product photos to make sure the connectors are the same.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Useless features

Installed this NGK harness yesterday in my 2001 Toyota 4Runner SR5 3.4L V6 along with new NGK spark plugs and coils. Superior performance, improved fuel economy and zero vibration. super quiet. I hear the sound of tires again. If you have a Toyota, NGK is what you need. Developed by a Japanese company for a Japanese car. Better than the original in my professional opinion. A little advice: when you change the wires, change the candles and coils at the same time, otherwise you will waste your…

2003 Toyota Tacoma 6 cyl. Fixed my code problem, engine works great.

Original 2003 Tacoma 6 cylinder spark plugs installed and replaced. That's all I needed when the #4 cylinder's wire came loose from the connector resulting in misfires and an engine light (and associated code). The exchange took 20 minutes. Suggest making 1 at a time and arranging them by size. They were NOT exactly the same length compared to the old connector wires. I can see where picking a medium size for a short one (like a 2 inch difference) would cause a routing issue. Sort them by size…

Runs like a top! best spark plugs and wires

I just bought a 1998 4Runner with 273,000 miles (I know lucky or what!) head and changed ignition coils, wires and connectors. (Duel Electrode! as required) Use the best quality you can, these wires were great, always have been a fan of NGK. When replacing, I saw that one coil pack had already been replaced because it didn't match the original, and the other was starting to rust a bit. so that was good. To be honest the car is from California and has always been small and very stock so it's…

Fixed misfire for my 1997 Toyota 4Runner

Some people complained that they weren't long enough so I was a little skeptical about ordering these cables but when they arrived they looked about the right size and they looked and felt great quality. I had some issues with my 1997 4runner with a misfiring and underpowered V6 engine. After replacing the spark plugs I noticed that the wires looked very dry and old so I decided to replace them with this kit. After installing these cables my misfire problem is gone and now my engine runs very…

The length and fit of the NGK are important.

2 wires are shorter than the original and the 3rd is longer than the original - Also one of the ends of the wires that connect to the coil doesn't go all the way around the tip of the coil , also the compression socket, the end of the plug is a little big, I squeezed it while still maintaining a round shape and it still doesn't snap/snap, just fits loosely, had to use an old clip to tighten that up keep cap in coil. Engine runs better with new $8 NGK 4302 spark plugs for Toyota 4Runner SR5 3.4.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • There are problems

UPDATED: There are shortcuts. Good wires for engine tuning!

I bought these to customize my 2001 Toyota 4runner and they work very well. The wires are the cheapest here at Revain and the NGK brand is a very reputable brand. They fit my car well, but installing them on the driver's side was a bit of a hassle. The wires are blue and really stand out in the engine bay. On a 5vz-fe engine, cylinder 1 goes to cylinder 4, cylinder 3 to cylinder 6, and cylinder 5 to cylinder 2. One thing that might be an issue is that none of the wires are labeled so the length
