Will not fit sewing machines as listed

This part was listed as working for the Singer 401A and does not even have the correct output pins for the machine. Completely wrong job. waste of time and money.

Works great with my sewing machines

Bought this for an old Singer (301A) that I recently bought. Before reviewing this item, I tried it on my Singer 301A and another Singer model 301. It works like a charm on both machines. It arrived a day after my purchase, so I'm very satisfied. It's worth it!

Foot pedal works great

The pedal's original cable became a little sticky after 60 years, so it was decided to replace it so that Grandma's singer would work well. It fits perfectly into the socket on the car and the foot pedal works great. Please note that this is a separate cable that connects to a different point on the device than the power cord.

Works great well for parts

The pedal that comes with the original machine is uncomfortable to use no matter how good your sewing. As a beginner in sewing, my biggest frustration was figuring out how to plant my foot and maintain a consistent speed. This pedal changed the world. It makes it much easier to control the speed so you can focus on sewing. I highly recommend it

Does it fit the Singer 401A sewing machine as stated in the description.

I understand the return policy. It took longer as I had to ship the product to my mother for her Singer 401A in Puerto Rico. The description says it fits this car, but it doesn't. The teeth are short. She just mailed it to me and would appreciate it if you could review the May 30th return policy. Thank you for your attention. Rosie Drake
