This hat is made from a heavyweight and beautiful material, we live in Wyoming and it will keep my son's ears nice and warm! The fabric stretches enough to be snug and not too loose like some other hats like this one I've bought in the past. I am very satisfied with the purchase and the quality of the product.

Sweet sweet enough warm hat. My 3 year old son gets lots of compliments. :) However, the tie is cotton and after a month it was frayed. I changed the tie to velcro and it is like new. It's too big for him, but if you take off the chin section and buckle it, it fits well. Velcro which I added also works well for this purpose.
