I bought these as we were traveling around the UK and it was the only night light that was said to work on 220/240 volts. It is not written on the lamp like many other electrical appliances for 220V, but only for 110V, but the comments indicate that it will work with 220/240. You were right, it works fine. I like the soft glow, in contrast to the more well-known LED lamps. Very happy with these lights. Now I'm swapping out LED bulbs for these at home.

Please don't waste your money on this beautiful and apparently smart night light. I bought these to avoid tripping over my dog on my way to the bathroom at night and strategically placed four of them. They work great for me. About the right amount of light. They have a photocell that turns off the light when it detects another light in the room. I believe this can cause flickering in certain near-dark environments.
