🖋️ Nikko Manga Pen Nib N-Gpen 3-Piece Set Review

I am starting calligraphy and have learned the best pens. Usually others recommend Nikko, Zebra and Tachikawa G. I've been using Tachikawa for about 2 months and just started using Nikko G. The Nikko G pen was easier to write on, but it doesn't hold as much ink as the Tachikawa pen. Overall I like Nikko G and have no complaints. Note: Other reviewers have reported that they only received 2 quills, but I received 3 quills as advertised.

This tip was recommended to me by Lindsey Bagby of thepostmensknock.com and I can see why! It was very patient with me as I am learning calligraphy and working great with yasutomo sumi ink and 32# laser paper. I have used this pen in my Koh-i-Noor straight cork holder and slanted Scribbler with excellent results. Remember to cook them in potatoes first to get rid of the maker's oil! This 3 pack is a great value and I highly recommend it!

This is my first experience as a beginner in calligraphy. I have read many comments and most calligraphers recommend Nikko G due to the medium's softness. I find it very easy to learn as a beginner. This is amazing! I'm new and needed to write wedding invitations. I got the speedball nibs from the hobby hall, they've arrived here now and oh wow, what a difference! They write a finer line than the speedball tips which I prefer! This makes writing on the copper plate more attractive. Seriously recommend if that's what you need.
