Nilight Aluminum Rocker Pre Wired Warranty Review

Bought twice and both times the Rock Light Switch broke the terminals on the back when installing. All other switches worked fine but 40€ and only 2 good switches is not worth the money.

The connectors are detachable but there is a release mechanism that needs to be pushed under the transparent insulation. It's mentioned in the description so I assume it's my fault but it's not common and can't be said about it with any isolation. Because of this, you most likely will not be able to disconnect the cables without removing the fairing and you will have to disconnect some cables to get to others.

The product has been well advertised. Works as described. Not the fault of the product. On my Tundra 1794 I was a bit hesitant to cut the panel. Everything worked. I connected it to the Nilight light panels and modules in front of my truck. The switch has an OEM feel, a solid addition. One thing I didn't like was the set screws I bought from the hardware store, M4x12mm bolts and matching nuts. And a responsible price.

I bought this switch to hook up to my truck to power various auxiliary lights. When I first received it you could tell it was a quality product. The switch came pre-wired and all you had to do was hook it up to the truck, ground it and run a hot wire from the battery to it. Back then, every switch had an open connection. Fits easily into RAM 2500 end caps. There are two convenient locations for these controls. There is a connector under the headlight and above the parking brake lever to the left of the wheel. I use them in my page x page. I have used rocker switches in the past but their quality is far superior to anything I have used in the past. The fact that they come pre-assembled is just the nice icing on the cake. All you have to do is connect a pos. and negative wire to the battery source (or switched wires) and then connect the light to the appropriate switch. I like that they glow when activated. Used to add additional keyswitches to my SxS. Easy to install considering you won't have any trouble cutting a hole. The switches are pre-wired which is fine for some but not for my application. The spade lugs are tight and difficult to remove without damaging the switches (pulling the entire leg out of the switch body), so use caution if you have to do this.
