The camera works great. Fishing the wires out through my car's headliner was difficult, but doable.

The instruction manual is terrible. A 32GB memory card fills up in about three hours of driving. Instead of looping, it stops recording and gives a message to reformat the USB stick. I only bought this camera because the marketing literature said it would overwrite old files on the USB stick. Otherwise a good product.

Works well until it breaks

Worked well for two months while working. Suddenly stopped working and stopped working. I tried to figure out the problem but couldn't fix it. A complete waste of money. Edit: So this company contacted me and asked me to withdraw my review and in return they refunded my money. They said they switched battery suppliers to fix the problem. I didn't remove this review (obviously) and they later said they would refund my money. I have never seen such a return.

The rear camera isn't that great.

I replaced an old car camera with this one and overall the camera seems pretty good. A bit big for the windshield as I feel it shouldn't be that visible from the road. The front camera seems to be doing its job well, but the rear camera really needs some work. It can't handle decent-looking shots. The old rear camera was much better and I will see if it is compatible with this new system. Don't get this if you're looking for a device that does an excellent job of recording the rear view, which…

Some functions do not work or are not well described.

I like some of the features of NINE CUBE 1080p HD Dashboard, but I don't understand why it is advertised as "Loop Recording, Parking Monitor and Motion Detection"!1. The recording is NOT a LOOP RECORDING - if the memory is full you will need to either delete the recorded files or reformat the memory. Overdraw and reformat every time the storage is full? 2. Need hardwire kit to be effective for sensor and protection. Not a word about it.

We installed the camera for several days. You will need to purchase a cord set, which you will not be informed about, to keep your DVR on at all times when you are not in your vehicle. Even in screensaver mode, it turns off after about 20 minutes. If they state that you need to buy a set of cables that would be fine, but there are no product details anywhere.
