Completely non-functional junk

It is extremely difficult to connect a regular 3.5mm plug, for example from a headset. Internal contacts are too tight. Also, the nut ring threads are too wide for the body threads. The mother must not be dressed. This will skip the thread.

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Great form factor for detachable cable mod

I've tried various detachable cable mod connectors on high end headphones and they are by far the easiest to work with. I haven't had any sound quality issues or degradation after plugging and unplugging cables hundreds of times on either of them. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Only positive
Cons
  • Nothing here

Dimensions or tolerances that are not respected during production.

My first order was lost in the mail. The replacement order had problems with nuts and threads. Either the nut was too big or the diameter of the threaded part was too small. and removed, the thread hooking badly. All were of the same quality. I had to go back and look elsewhere.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Negative is available

Poor connection quality

Questionable quality. Out of 10, only 6 remained operational. With fewer than 10 connect/disconnect cycles, 4 out of 10 connections began to fail. The remaining 6 are working fine so far, but I'm afraid to turn them off for fear they will fail too. Spend a few bucks more and get something of better quality if you're doing something serious.

Pros
  • Many are enough
Cons
  • For old

Will work but not the strictest quality control

They appear to work and have good chrome pins and housings, but the very small clamps that screw onto the threads are too big and therefore a bit loose. It needs to be checked whether or not this affects the ability to bolt the terminals to the case. Also, a collar was missing from the pack so I only have 9 good studs instead of 10.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Minor problems

Plastic Shell Melts: Cables and Interconnects

Unfortunately I wasn't particularly impressed with the quality of these connectors as the plastic shell melts at high temperatures. It is necessary to solder quickly with a minimum temperature. I soldered the first one, I didn't do it and the tab sank a bit into the plastic case. When I inserted the plug, the ring on the sleeve closed. I had to cut off the plug and throw it away. In addition, one of the 10 connections had no thread on the flange (see photo).

Pros
  • There's Something Inside
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

Negative reviews are misleading

I'm only writing here because of some negative reviews: If you have a decent soldering iron, know how to use it and use a THIN or tapered tip. You shouldn't have any problems. I have used these jacks to convert several pairs of Grados to detachable cord headphones and have had no problems with the jacks. To be honest the soldering was the easiest part of the job (seriously). They were easy to solder, but I also used a stand with alligator clips to keep them stable. The sockets are admittedly…

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • So far so good

Great best audio cable so far

I'm very interested in electronics and at the moment I'm consuming these things like candy when I'm developing a project or two. In the past I've always used 3.5mm square plugs in a plastic case, but lately I've found it difficult to find good quality plugs. Then I found these and I still *love* them. The two best parts of them are: 1) They have a metal body from the filaments to where the connectors exit, which makes them very strong, and 2) the surface where the filaments end and the body…
