So I ordered this when someone answered my question that it is compatible with DC44 Animal but it is not, the coding is different. I will say it feels high quality for the price so it works great with compatible vacuums.

I've had it for about two years now. It was a poor performance from the start. I can hardly hold it at the moment. Even after brushing your hair. Even without a carpet. It is not worth. Get an OEM replacement if you can. I will throw this one away.

The original floor brush just wore out after 7 years, that's why we bought this device. It works just as well as the original Dyson for less money. I didn't give a single star for "Transparency" because I didn't know what that word meant in relation to a vacuum cleaner nozzle. I highly recommend this product.

I doubted buying this brand because of OEM Dyson. I took a chance after reading a few reviews. He arrived yesterday. The fit was perfect and it works great. The original connection was lost but was still working, so it's preserved for backup. Mmmm $29 or $104. You have chosen!

After reading the reviews I jumped at the chance to buy a cheaper replacement. That works great! It glides smoothly while vacuuming and picks up lots of dog hair. We use this several times a day. The brush spins quickly and doesn't seem to tangle in your hair. I never needed to clear my head. Very happy with performance on tile, hardwood and carpet. Just hope it lasts as long as the original. So far very satisfied.

The construction was very cheap and flimsy, the hose that connects to the vacuum was flimsy and looks like it will pierce in a year. It's ok, don't expect OEM quality, but the biggest problem is that the electrical connector for the head rotation doesn't fit snugly enough to keep the connection.
