I use this for oil infusions to be honest. The only complaint I have is that the bottom carafe has nothing to hold it in place so it slips when you move it, so be careful. I also wish it was easier to find replacement parts. Other than that, it's exactly what was expected based on the pictures and description provided.

I really like this filter coffee. I don't use it for coffee, I use it to infuse spirits. I poured all the spices, cinnamon, cherries and dried pears into the rye whiskey to make it old fashioned. Delicious. I infused vodka with cherry and mint leaves. Delicious. I look forward to creating more liqueur infusions. It looks great in a bar and encourages pleasant conversation!

This item needs to be removed from Amazon store, it is overpriced and should be around $30 instead of $114. Mail and glass were completely broken, and parts of it were missing. I highly recommend checking out something better than this one for sure. Not happy at all. The instructions are stupid and there are parts that aren't even in the box.
