Ideal for dog tags

Great design! I bought these to quickly and safely move my dog tags from one collar/harness to another. The locking mechanism is really secure and the carabiner's tiny size is perfect for the tag holes I was planning to buy. One note - this is true. really tiny. If you have large fingers or fine motor skills, you may find it difficult to open and close the lock.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Very small but durable

I wanted a minimalist key splitter and this is definitely what I wanted. It is very strong and suitable for everyday use. This is the most reliable key splitter I have ever owned. I trust the mechanism. I will say that the lock feature isn't easy to manipulate, which I think is a good thing as I don't want it to accidentally open. However, if you suffer from arthritis or have limited mobility, you may not be able to control the locking mechanism.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Something different

Perfect for organizing your keys.

This is a stroke of luck. I love how they organized my keychain. I try not to carry a lot of stuff on my keychain because it's annoying and messy, but I should have my car keys, My KeyBar (key organizer, google it, it's great), a small flashlight, and a quirky object In this case it's a keychain from a friend. In any case, they keep the ring tidy and everything hangs neatly without getting tangled or getting in the way of other items on the ring. I also love taking my car in for service. that I

Need more than two? Buy "Key Box " instead

Just wanted to let people know - there are currently two of these on this product page for $6.00 but you can purchase "Key Rack" Nite Ize Keys . for $8.26 and it comes with SIX identical Micro-Lock S carabiners. Now for the actual review: I love these things - a little extra security if you need anything you attach things to stay attached. .The small plastic racket with lock is very safe. This comes at a price - because it's rigid and very small, your fingers can't do much work on it, andโ€ฆ

Good idea, requires more quality control on the lock

Got a pack from the hardware store and then a pack here at Revain. You have to do a small operation if you don't want to lose your keys. The locking mechanism is not always tight. In the "closed" position I was able to press down on the metal and a small piece of my ring was able to pass through. I used general purpose pliers to compress the metal to make sure the plastic part of the lock wouldn't allow the metal to slide over it causing the top of the lock to pop open a bit. I tried to take aโ€ฆ
