My Chinchilla Shadow is thrilled! He sleeps in it more than his own bed and loves to curl up in it and stare into his cage. He also plays it at night! This is the perfect hammock for your little pet! It is also very easy to care for and the color is very stylish for both sexes in my opinion! Very happy with my purchase!

Two of our guinea pigs use this shelter. We hung it on top of the cage and they figured out how to jump on and in perfectly. They both like to snuggle up to him together. I like how it frees up space on the bottom of their cage. You haven't chewed it yet, and it's been a few months. Has held up well to a few washes. I recommend making sure your piglets have something interesting so they don't touch the harnesses.

**UPDATE** Nine months later, this hammock still survives in my ferrets cage and is their favorite shelter and roost. Even after several washes, it became soft and the color did not fade. This cozy hammock has a thick and plush feel - very high quality. I love how big it is, big enough for my two rats. They got used to it immediately and seem to feel comfortable and safe in it. My rats love this stuff! And unlike most other hammocks I've given them, they haven't gnawed through the hangers (or most others) yet. It's been through multiple wash/use cycles and is holding up great and all 3 seem to love stuffing in it.
