Better Than I Thought

I was a bit disappointed when I first opened them, thinking it should be a big pipe, not a small one. After trying to see if I could bend it, I noticed that it could stretch. I bought this for my 2 ferrets and they love it, it's the first thing they run to when I let them out

Cons
  • There Are New Competitors

Looks a bit cheap but works

The plastic is very hard so it's not easy to stretch the tunnels and bend them into the right shape. I was expecting a rather tight fit. But they are large enough for rats to easily crawl through. I think they're pretty good for the price and the rats don't care that they're plastic. Just more things to chew on. :)

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

It can be a chew toy!

I was so excited about this tunnel and to my delight my hamster loved it too! Unfortunately, it seems to be a popular chew toy and after only 24 hours it has a lot of holes. I can live with the chews (and buy a spare) but I'm concerned my hamster might not (survive)? If there is a vet or other expert who can reassure me that our hamster is not ingesting plastic or otherwise injuring himself that would be great.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Negative impression

My rats LOVE IT! for small animals

I have supplied many small hammocks, toys and structures for my rats but this is their absolute favorite. I love that it flexes to fit the cage nicely and that the plastic is really strong. I had no trouble cleaning it. I take it outside and hose it down when they go there from time to time. There's also enough space for rats to move around (they can even climb on top of each other to get around). My boys are pretty chubby and it's still roomy. I would definitely recommend this whistle toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • No automatic controls

The perfect tunnel for a big hamster!

I bought this for my Syrian Hamster and he loves it. It's big enough for him to turn around and because he's flexible I can build any tunnel for him. He's in a reinforced rabbit cage, so there's plenty of room for such a large tunnel. He's never liked little hamster tunnels, but he loves this one. I highly recommend it and I will definitely buy it again. Instead, the hamster shifted its sleeping position into the tube and then chewed holes in the tube to get air. At least that's what it lookedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Unreliable

NOT safe for hedgehogs!

I bought this for my African Pygmy Hedgehog's playpen as he loves to explore small spaces and hide. As she enjoyed walking on it, the sharp edges of the plastic tunnel cut into her leg. A tunnel is simply a piece of corrugated tubing that has been accidentally cut off. I really like that I can mold it into any shape I want, but I can't give it a high rating as the edges are dangerous for little feet. Other smaller creatures with stiffer paws can handle this just fine, but be careful if you'reโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some bugs

My rats didn't bother at all

I couldn't get my three house rats interested in this tunnel. When it first appeared, they took a quick look at it, but had no interest in crawling on it or dangling in it. I suspect this is because it's very light and therefore moves a lot; Rats probably find it repulsive. When placed in a straight configuration, the tunnel simply rolls from side to side like a log. When rolled into a C or S shape, it won't let it roll, just glides across our hardwood and tile floors. It is also not a veryโ€ฆ
