🔩 NK 500 Mechanical Analog Force Gauge Review

Very strong product, comes with a very strong body and all the necessary attachments. Well built and works very well. Don't write off the cons.

The instrument and packaging appear to be well made but their use is another story. English speaking author and difficult to understand. Also, I should have paid better attention to the scales, which are NOT in pounds but (as the description says) in kilograms and newtons; which for our purposes need to be converted on every read, making it very impractical. Too bad we didn't try to use it before we passed the return date!

Mine arrived in a box that had clearly been in the block several times. The black plastic case inside had dents, scratches, and something sticky on one corner. Inside, the blue foam was scratched and worn. The meter pointer was fixed at the 5 o'clock position and the pointer did not move when pressed or pulled. I tried to reset with the button, nothing. Basically it came as a brick. Inside was a warranty card and a test, supposedly it worked in September, but here, in December, crap…
