This is the wrong shock absorber, the correct shock absorber is 19 inches long and yours is 2 inches shorter. I went to the EZGo store and they had the same problem so they return goods there.

Overall product quality was excellent. Note, however, that if the car is powered up and the old shock absorbers have extensions, don't expect them to simply be replaced with new shock absorbers. This is an M10 metric thread (1.25 pitch) so be prepared to buy matching extensions as well.
