Moves 12 " subwoofer great

Very surprised, wasn't expecting it to push my 12" Klipsch subwoofer after the amp broke. It hits hard and exceeded my expectations. To be picky when you turn it on you sometimes hear a pop, but for the $$ spent I can live with that.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • No paint required

Quiet background, good sound quality

I use 2 of these amps as "mono blocks" for stereo speakers, I have not used them to power the subwoofer. I had no background noise (even with the amp cranked all the way up) and the sound quality is very good. I would say the same as most normal receivers but definitely a notch below NAD etc as you would expect. Delivery was as promised. My connection: optical output from computer to DAC - RCA DAC outputs to NOBsound amplifiers - each amplifier is connected to the speaker with speaker cablesโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Only available in black

Reduces stereo separation in the main system.

Works great except for one small issue I didn't notice until I plugged the headphones into my system. At first I thought it seemed to me. While setting up another part of my system and in the headphones I noticed that I had unplugged one of the input cables. So I connected it. I thought I noticed that my stereo separation was reduced. I turned it off and indeed the stereo field expanded. It doesn't become monophonic, but changes the "soundstage" a bit. If you're really picky about your soundโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Fast change
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Not suitable for bass shakers

I bought this item to power two Aura bass shakers. Crossover is not suitable for this job. It claims to operate at 40Hz, which is what bass shakers typically require. However, this crossover is not very aggressive. Running the test tones, it was just as strong at 40Hz, about half as strong at 50Hz, and still buzzed slightly at 60Hz. Compared to the Dayton SA100 subwoofer, which lost power at 40Hz, it mostly lost power at 50Hz Power and at 60 Hz nothing. Using this amp will make it stand outโ€ฆ

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Nobsound G2 - Klipsch RW10 Subwoofer. I am very surprised!

After extensive research I decided on the cheaper way and bought a mini subwoofer (Nobsound G2 Amp) instead of the Bash 300S Plate Amp. The G2 is mated to a 10" Klipsch RW10 subwoofer (Klipsch amp board produces 450W RMS output) / 280W). The G2 amp's power output is only 100 watts. The second and third pictures (switch controls) show mine Gain, volume and switch control settings for my Klipsch subwoofer It takes a minute to adjust the amp settings to get the bass you want in your Klipschโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Without automatic

Deep, punchy bass. Fits great on my computer Customization

After more than 7 months of ownership I have to write it's great! Addition to my setup. I have 10 year old JBL full range speakers that I use for mids and highs. I got them in 2002 with an old Compaq desktop and they still work. The Nobsound G2 subwoofer features a 250w dual voice coil subwoofer that I pulled from my old Hyundai. Let me tell you, this little amp is loud and packs some decent bass. I think you can even throw a decent 12 x 12 foot dance floor party with this setup, more whenโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No form required

Adding a subwoofer to receiver without SUB OUT

I have a Pioneer VSX-305 Prologic surround receiver. The rear of my receiver has the following sockets: 2 front speaker outputs A2, front speaker output B1, center speaker output, 2 surround back speaker outputs. My speaker connections are not RCA. -Conforms to 5.1 standards. I connected it by buying a speaker line to RCA adapter on one end. This is because my receiver's speaker output is not an RCA, but an open wire. The problem was that I bought Pioneer 5.1 channel surround speakers so itโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Excellent replacement subwoofer

With this amp I have replaced a burnt out amplifier module in my active subwoofer Energy ESW-8. Doesn't sound as good as the factory Energy amp, but pretty close. There's a slight hum at low volume, but when the music is on and the bass is pumping, you don't really notice it. The output is impressive - I have the gain set to minimum and the volume is about halfway up and my subwoofer gets loud enough. It appears to match the factory power amplifier module in the ESW-8 which was rated at 100Wโ€ฆ

Pros
  • understandable also for the old
Cons
  • A few little things
