Quiet fan! for internal components

Let me quote myself from my review of a unit that has used this fan because it speaks for itself: First, let me confirm that the excessive noise reported by other buyers is REAL. The original 80mm fan with RGB LEDs (model QSCD 8025S) is VERY loud. So I did myself a long-term favor and replaced it with a high quality Noctua NF-A8 ULN fan. Day and night! The noise is gone. I've also left out the original fan's fancy RGB lighting, but the position of my case isn't visible, and what a difference!

Pros
  • Waiting for
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

You get what you paid for and more

Very nice case fans. They are soundproofed with soft rubber on four corners and include additional cable holders for multiple connectivity options. Mounting screws and rubber bushings are included in the scope of delivery. I am very happy that I found these fans. And they're so quiet, it's amazing.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Waiting too long

Good Fan Electronics

I bought two of these to put in my Thermaltake Suppressor F1 case to suck air out of the back of the case. I only had one 4-pin motherboard connector available, so I also bought a Noctua NA-SYC2 3-pin Y-cable to connect both to that connector. They're so quiet I can't hear them at all, and I can control their speed from my ASUS Z170i Pro gaming motherboard. A low noise adapter cable was also included with the fans, which I tried, but the fans are so quiet even at maximum speed that I don't use…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Expensive

Very expensive for a fan.

Haven't used anything in a long time except Panaflo fans. Most sleeve bearing fans, even some supposedly unusual ones, seize up after a year or two. Ball bearing fans *may* last longer (although some don't), but they tend to be noisy unless running at extremely low speeds (I have several Sunon fans that have been running for over a decade) . Panaflo fans are as quiet as sleeve fans (because they are), and yet they seem to run forever. I haven't had a single failure, although some have been…

  • Expensive but decent

Quiet as described!

Bought to replace my old CPU fan which sounded like a jet plane - it was so loud you could even hear it through headphones and had to raise your voice a bit when you were in nearby spoke monitor. Like other reviewers, I was shocked at how quiet the fan got when I plugged it in. I had to make sure it really worked! My processor is now on average 1-2 degrees cooler and almost silent.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • something is wrong

CALM! YOU BET the best inside

I replaced my 15 year old case fan with this fan. From the start, trying to use the phone while the computer was running was annoying for the old fan. I usually turn off my computer when I use my phone. This fan is very quiet. I have two computers and I know my new one will have Noctua fans when I start listening to Chassis fans.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • I'll add later

Great fan for HTPC.

This fan has replaced a loud humming fan in a cheap HTPC case. With the adapter I lowered the fan speed to 1100 rpm. Anti-vibration mounts eliminate problems with noise transmission to the chassis. That's maybe the best 15.99 I've ever spent. It might seem like a lot, but eliminating the noise from the other fan made my ears happy. There is no change before and after the temperature measured by RealTemp. In the future I will use Noctura whenever I need a computer fan of any kind.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Exterior
