Non Contact Useful on the farm - all pros and cons about this

I received a parcel from a well-known Chinese online store. The tester was purchased out of curiosity. In the arsenal of any electrician there are always several devices that allow you to detect the presence or absence of voltage. This device differs from the usual screwdrivers - testers by the absence of the need to use your own body as a "capacity", and direct contact with the bare contacts of the network. Love my electrical tester

Bought to replace the exact same one I gave my son. Do not do any electrical work without them. Hasn't given me an incorrect result yet.

Not as good as my old one

This one is identical to my old one which worked great. However, this turns itself off without pressing a button. Unreliable at best. Maybe just an error in assembly.

Pain in my acehole for testers

This thing randomly turns on while I'm driving in my car since it's in my tool bag and it just starts chirping and beeping like crazy. Sometimes it just turns on randomly while sitting on the table without moving it. Then when you want to turn it off, just ignore the button. Also, the pen clip's battery compartment is difficult to operate, you just have to open the damn thing. This sometimes saves you having to change the battery so you don't have to worry about it. Definitely a waste of money,
