Have been using it in my truck for a week and so far so good. My only complaint is that the 12v plug seems oddly large so it's not as secure as I'd like. So I plugged it into a dash socket so I could plug it back in if I needed to (it stays on even on bumpy roads, but a slight jolt can knock out power).

I did a lot of research before buying this item. And even had a bad experience buying another similar product only to be very disappointed. I've had this item for about a year now and couldn't be happier. Works amazing, durable, reliable and has exceeded all my expectations. I would highly recommend this item to anyone.

2 years. Before that we bought NRF45. The block worked fine. NRF30 works well too. But there seems to be a problem with all of these units. The 12 volt plug is not as tight as it should be. It doesn't take long to turn it off. For both devices I had to buy a high quality plug and replace the original plug. The original plugs are not of poor quality, but they are not tight enough. It was very annoying.

I bought this refrigerator after several months of research. In the beginning it was exactly what I was looking for. However, it started cooling intermittently, necessitating a shutdown and reboot. Then on a 4 hour trip from home it stopped cooling completely. Shows higher temperatures when warming up and makes normal sounds. But it doesn't cool anymore. He was placed in a full-size wheelchair carriage. I'm trying to figure out how to make a return. I counted on a few years of life.

From time to time, justified or not, I buy something that does what it says on the tin. Although small, it requires a dozen hard-boiled eggs (in plastic containers), 6 cans of soda, a bowl of leftover veggies, a can of butter, 4 small dinners on TV, and a can of peaches for dinner. However, that extra $50 for an AC converter (which I think is evil and an abuse on Norcold's part) is a bit pricey. But still a good buy. I've been using it every day since I bought it. I'm a regional trucker and tired of thermoelectric coolers. It is perfect and keeps food at the desired temperature for a week.
