Exactly what I needed because I needed a pad.

The seal on my old berry sieve was hard and broken. I had no option to purchase the pad separately, so I had to buy a new berry net. Now I can use both screens and just move the shim.

Pros
  • even for the old
Cons
  • understandable Periodicity

game changer! in Kitchen Gadgets

I used my berry net to make cranberry sauce and it changed everything! I used to use a meat grinder which removed the skin but not the seeds. This screen gave me a soft sauce and I couldn't be happier. I love this whole system and if you need to make berries with tiny seeds then this gadget is for you. I highly recommend this product.

not worth it for kitchen and dining room

Used once and sent back. Not extracting enough juice from berries. I make seedless raspberry jelly every year, usually by heating, pureeing, and then straining the berries through colanders. I get enough juice from a gallon of berries to make a batch of jelly. I only got half that. So I used my "waste" method to extract enough juice for a batch of jelly. And it's quite a pity to clean it, soak it, scratch it, and finally clean it with a toothpick. I didn't find it worth the time, effort or…

Good product. - Kitchen and Dining Room

I live in Oregon where blackberries are a weed. I have harvested over 120 pounds of blackberries since receiving this product and have used this screen to process almost all of the berries. The seeds didn't go through. I found I could skip the waste bowl again and get more pulp/juice out of the berries. At the same time, processing the berries with a sieve took a few minutes per plane (about 23 pounds). Cleaning was good (I used a vegetable brush to remove the seeds from the holes). In short…

Simply pitted berry jam, higher juice yield

Ideal for my 10 year old NorPro meat grinder. I tried removing the seeds from 3 1/4 pounds of raspberries before making jam. MUCH faster than using a sieve or cheesecloth by hand! As other reviewers suggest, it's worth making a "waste" for a second pass to get a better output. My first pass yielded 1 3/4 pounds of puree; the second gave an additional 1/2 lb. The third pass only added 1/4 lb and the seed got stuck firmly between the auger and the screen. (I also do 2 passes by straining the…
