🔪 Efficiently Slice French Beans with the Norpro White French Bean Slicer 5.25in/13.5cm Review

Not easy to use in my opinion. The beans break before I run them through the blades, especially large beans. I would not recommend them.

I don't know what I did wrong but I couldn't put a single green bean in it without cutting myself. They were all simply crushed by the blades.

This is a good kitchen tool. I live in rural America and green beans are part of our garden. Take the time to learn how to use it. Sounds crazy, but once you "get it", it works great.

OMG! I cut each bean myself "French style". My sister said there is a device that makes it much faster. I found this and just used it today and it was easy, quick and after I cooked the beans, delicious! Most people probably don't care, but I'm cooking a dish that I was taught by a Vietnamese family that brings back such wonderful memories.

Slicer was received from Revain at the right time. A few years ago we bought a thin planer that looked like this but after many years of good use the blades are double and you can't sharpen them so they need to be replaced. There is a large quantity of green beans growing in our garden at the moment and my wife is happy to save them for future use and feeding.
