Stylish Northside Men's Sandal: Brown & Black - Perfect Men's Shoe Choice Review

I've bought them three times already. They usually last a few years due to the design, the straps seem to go all the way through the shoe so if the glue on the sole ever wears out the strap won't break. Now they have remodeled and made everything more modern and "fired up”. Looks better and fits better.

They're just not hard at all. If I can take them out of the box and bend them easily with my arthritic hands, then they aren't stiff. The only reason I bought them was because other reviews yelled that they were too stiff. You are not. If anyone has any recommendations for hard soled sandals that don't flex easily please let me know. I think we have different definitions of stiffness and flexibility. I want to return these sandals asap as they broke after the 5th time in them. I really like them but the strap fell out of this base.

I have foot size 7 but wear size 8 because I need loose shoes. They are less than 7, my toes hang a little behind the toe of the sandals. Now a common problem is finding sandals that fit the advertised size and I can't find any sandals that fit me, they are all sold out.

I bought the Northside Mens Burke II Sport Athletic Sandal to use while rafting down the river. Sizing was as expected and the shoe was comfortable for a variety of activities including whitewater rafting, campwear and short river hikes.

I think that's the wrong size. I bought several pairs about 3-4 years ago and I love them so much! Unfortunately, the quality control does not seem to have worked here.

My 16 year old son orders these shoes every 6-8 months. He's worn them all seasons for the past five years. It's more than his favorite shoe. These are his only shoes. Haha

At first I was excited about these shoes. I've tried a lot of shoes in this style lately and this width is perfect for any shoe, right down to the "factory" straps. They only had a slight flex, the insole isn't as good as the best I've tried (Skechers in the same style) but good enough that I could say they break in well. These sandals were great for the price except regular everyday wear didn't last just 3 months of use. By August, the heel was completely separated from the base and the strap came out too.

We increased the size because they didn't have a 7 1/5. / They fit well and were comfortable. The thread is a bit big. But it's a great shoe for the water

The size fits perfectly, the overall design is good. However, my soles hurt. I was better off walking around the house barefoot than wearing these. No curve to fit your foot.

We bought them in May 2021 and took them with us on summer vacation. I also bought another pair of sandals from another company for my other son and took them on the same trip. By the end of the voyage, both Burks were already falling apart. The rigid outsole is separate from the rubber material that forms the bottom of both sandals. Another pair from another company is still going strong. Do not recommend them if you want them to last more than one ride.

He will definitely return. I have Keen and Ecco sandals for long walks and hikes and just wanted to wear a pair of inexpensive flip flops for running errands. Thought this pair might fit as advertised with a cork sole. But it turns out that's not true, as evidenced by another reviewer's photo. The sole is also very stiff as I tested after receiving a pair. Even though my heel is all the way back, my pinky toes go over the edge of the sole for the size I usually wear.

This is my 3rd or 4th pair. I wear them a lot year round and abuse them quite a bit, but they seem to last me about a year or a year and a half. I used to buy them from a chain sporting goods store, but they were always limited in colors and sizes. They were at Walmart for the same price if not better and they had the best selection.

I loved the style and the look but after wearing them around the house for only 3 months they look terrible and are falling apart. I am very disappointed in the quality and purchase. I expected better shoes.

They're made of plastic. I don't think they will ever break. I've had them for a year now and they're still stiff. I hope the more I wear them the softer they get and the elastic will hold up better.

They are hard, like towers, and the top of the sandal where the toes are is very hard, when the fingers slip off the edge of the toe, the toes hurt. Should be flush with the rest of the shoe. They are not very comfortable, hard on the foot. They look good and the quality is ok, but they need to be softer and hold the toe. I will not buy them again until these issues are resolved.

Bought as a gift for my son, lasted 3 months. The sole is separate. Don't waste your money looking for something permanent. Only the regrettable return period has expired.

The sandals are decent enough for the price, although durability is questionable. Bought for a walking group tour. Will be updated at the end of the trip. Cheap enough to throw away if the next tour isn't worth it.

I know these aren't the most expensive high end sandals but I was hoping they would at least last my son all summer...they fell apart completely.
