This sandpaper product is crafted using a premium, heat-treated abrasive to create an extra fine grit sandpaper sheet that cuts faster and longer sandpaper life than ordinary sandpaper. Pair this premium sandpaper product with your sanding block, sanding board or use the sandpaper by hand to finish and prepare the surfaces of hard and soft carbon steels, soft metals, titanium, super alloys, hard and soft woods, fiberglass and composites. This sandpaper is non pigmented and has a water-based anti-clog coating. With no color dye for zero color transfer this sandpaper is the best sandpaper for metal removal and prevents color transfer between surfaces. This sandpaper is a fine grit sandpaper designed for the cleaning, detailing, finishing and sanding after using a coarse sandpaper for a heavier stock removal. Sandpaper developed from Aluminum Oxide. 9 x 11 Inch Dimensions. Super Fine, 400 Grit Sandpaper. Comes in a pack of 20 sandpaper sheets.

Effective Sanding Solution

The Norton Abrasives Gobain ProSand Sanding is an exceptional finishing product that delivers remarkable results. According to my experience, it smoothens out rough surfaces and takes on tough sanding jobs with ease, providing a consistent and scratch-free finish. The flexible design conforms to the contours of the surface, making it perfect for curved and angled areas. However, it is a bit more expensive than other sanding products in the market.

Ideal for woodturning - very strong abrasive

This is an excellent sandpaper for turning wood. I don't know if this abrasive is crumbly or not, but it doesn't break like "old fashioned". The underlay also adheres well when sanded with mineral oil and beeswax.

This is not a CAMI standard!

Great product if you need a little finer grit than 280 It is incorrectly listed as 400 grit when the back of the sheets says P400 grit which is FEPA/EURO compliant. The abrasive in this P400 paper is 42 microns, while the 400 grit is 30 microns. In comparison, 280 grit paper is 45 microns thick. Norton must inspect its packaging to ensure that the labels on the packaging are legible.
