Good quality product! & Good price! BUT READ THIS!

This water softener is excellent value for money. It works as described and is very effective. However, it took extra time and headache to fix a few small issues. I would give 5 stars but the manufacturer did not use teflon tape on any of the fittings. So be aware that while it's mostly assembled when you get it, I had a few small leaks because of that. What was annoying was that I had to disassemble and drain the system in order to apply teflon tape to the fittings already screwed on by the…

Works great, great value for money. Produces very clean water from 9-17 ppm.

Item in perfect condition arrived and was easy to clean install. Made in another house many years ago. The water is incredibly clear, 9-17ppm depending on how long it sits based on oxygen. Our Rain soft R/O has never had such good readings and taste. We even use less lemonade powder or other drink mixes than we used to. It produces water quickly without leakage. Misleading Product Information

This product uses over 5 gallons per gallon produced - closer to 7 gallons. I measured while collecting waste water in a rain barrel to use in my garden. I was amazed at how much water was wasted. In addition, the installation took several days due to a leak over 6 hours and the fact that the system is so large that it cannot be placed under the kitchen sink.
