When the top cap (two piece set) is broken it is important to replace it especially if you are in a rainy area. I have learned that without this top cover, water can enter the roof and damage your RV. Give priority to repairs!

The heat makes these trailer roof parts very brittle and they break easily. I broke 2 of these by pulling a trailer cover on them. This product is a vent cover that will actually come off and need to be replaced before moisture can get into the vent. Not cool!

This was the perfect replacement for the roof vent on my Terry trailer. The old one has deteriorated due to sun/weather and this may be the cause of some leaks during/after rain. I feel like I have no more leaks with the sealant I used when installing this cap! And that's good!
