Instructions? We don't need instructions.

Em. at least a photo of all sides? We're both good at puzzles and it was listed as such so we knew there would be a minimum of instructions. How about none? Their recommendations are mostly luck. But for that you really need that luck - to deal with the awful distortion that causes it to fall apart when you put it together. I mean awful. Also some bad cuts, bad quality of at least two laser cut panels and they used one with a clear defect. So I have to use putty and mesh to hold this very large

Pros
  • Great option for a small house
Cons
  • Lots of things

Great project. Needs lots of adult help

Instructions are poor. Here are some tips: #1-Scan the bill of materials on the back cover and enlarge it with your computer. Parts are grouped by function. All roof parts are assembled etc. Locate the numbered inserts in the parts list and find the corresponding insert holes on the associated parts. This will tell you how the different pieces fit together. Tab #60 fits hole #60 etc. #2 - Paint parts before assembly. makes painting much easier. #3-Dry fit the pieces together to ensure they fit…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons

Works great with dolls and accessories

Instructions are one sheet of part/slot numbers only. I used the YouTube video mentioned in other reviews but only for the first minute or two until I got a feel for where and how the parts are going. Prior to final assembly, there were only a few parts that gave me trouble assembling. TIPS: - I used a fine felt tip pen to mark the numbers on each piece as directed in the "Instructions". This helped speed up the job as the numbered wedges and slots just matched. — A piece of fine-grain…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • No instructions

An exciting project, despite the lack of material and instructions!

First install the enclosed instructions, you will not use them. Go to YouTube and search "DIY Miniature Gothic House Woodcraft Construction Kit". The video is about 12 minutes long and does a good job of showing you how to build the house - you will refer to it throughout the building process. Some pieces of wood are not laser cut, so you need to be careful with them. I had a few breaks but the super glue took care of that. I put it together with a mini glue gun but Elmer's glue will work too…

Pros
  • Trial period for one year
Cons
  • Protection

Intermediate entry level, easy to set up

No step by step instructions included so I highly recommend watching some YouTube videos on assembly. I was able to assemble this kit in about an hour and a half using just an Exacto knife and an emery board. Parts are shipped pre-cut from wood panels, but sometimes help with die cutting is required. I also found that some of the tabs need to be shaved off a bit to fit properly. The circles in the top fairing were poorly cut and didn't want to stick out resulting in some damage to the fairing…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Don't torture yourself

This thing was horrible to put together. I love the end product (Gothic House) but after that I stick with the famous brands. I couldn't understand a kid assembling it alone. I would say thirteen or fourteen is the youngest age that can do it on their own. I had to cut out some parts myself because not all of them were completely punched through. Almost every detail had to be trimmed or sanded in some way. The paint warped the wood and I couldn't put the pieces back together. I had to work hard

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Nothing here
