I used it on a MDF board which was cut very nice and smooth for the boards. Spars and handrails were made of oak, they could be cut without any problems.
Heads milled wrong, you can't solve the problem. The main problem is that the head is milled incorrectly and undercut or overcut. So if you try to piece them together, they leave a 1/16 inch gap. I think that's fine if you're painting and don't mind filling the gap and sanding, but terrible if you want to paint wood. You get what you pay for. And I've learned my lesson. Pure garbage.
These bits require adjustment (washers) to even come close to cutting the appropriate template. Even after that, some of the radius bits still don't match. There is no way to set this up. The beat used for the rails sounded like a jet engine getting ready to take off on my router table (completely unbalanced). And the plate cutter had a good sized chip in one of its 4 teeth. I returned these bits after a week and one use. I strongly recommend spending more money on better quality beats. This is
