I bought two for my kids on Disney's hot day. They loved them until one of them broke after an hour of use. They don't come with batteries so I put in new ones and even tried replacing the battery but nothing.

We have a 2 year old grandson who likes to play with the syringe. It was perfect! He can hold the fan to his face and the soft leaves won't hurt him. He easily splashes water, so he can do it himself. They are wonderful and my wife and I love them too.

Overall a very good product. It's lightweight, I like that it comes with a clip so you can attach it to your purse or backpack. The battery cover comes off easily, which I don't like. The fan and water jet work great together to create a comfortable mist and is very refreshing in hot weather. We used this in Florida and it provided great respite in the 90 degree Florida sun.

Bought for vacation. One arrived broken, others are working. Not the easiest to complete. They were light enough not to be bulky and the clip was good for attaching to a belt loop or purse. Not very strong - so don't expect strong winds. They gave a slight airflow but with the mist it was enough for me. However, your mileage may vary depending on what you need and what you expect.

I've gotten these before and they work great on a hot day! The kids have fun with them, and I once experienced them as a lifesaver when I was 5 months pregnant and pacing around a hot, crowded convention hall. The fan+mist combo was a must in such muggy conditions! I just wish it had the ability to set continuous mist because you have to press the button whenever you want to spray.

As another customer said they were not made correctly and the AA battery is not strong enough for the fan to work properly. I bought 4 of them (all are coming back) - one worked (albeit slowly and intermittently) the other three just needed shaking to get the battery to touch the connector and it worked. Why are they even on sale? They had to be taken off the shelf and sent back to the manufacturer.

Simple and works great! Took this on a trip to Louisiana and Mississippi when they had a heat wave, over 90 degrees everyday with about 90% humidity. The best to cool off and make waiting for the next plantation guide bearable. I could sell many of these to my fellow travelers. I bought 3 types, this was the cheapest and the best. Attaches to the handle of the bag, doesn't take up space in the bag and is always ready to use. Doesn't leak, easy to fill and COOLS ME!

I bought these for our trip to Disney World this summer. The first day the battery was completely dead (possibly because my son used it all day). On the second day, he got out of his water bottle bag and got lost. The second time I lost the battery cover. The fan is mediocre but provides some cooling. Big bottle fans are way better, but at least they were way lighter. Not worth the price. If I would buy them again it would only be because of the size. And I would take a more secure latch and…
