Oakley Half Jacket Sunglass Replacement Lenses & Sock Kit By BlazerBuck Review

Upon receipt of these I noticed they are smaller. From the top to bottom there is at least 1/8" shorter in size. They also do not snap into the frame tightly. I fear they will fall out. I haven't even tried them yet because we've had rain for the last two days. After contacting the seller I found out these are not the right lenses for my frame. The customer service was great. They helped me determine the correct lenses and shipped them out to me.

Bought these for hubby so he could start using his favorite frames again. The lenses took some force and the rubber parts were a pain to get on but at least they won’t fall off anytime soon. The only complaint was our order had a missing nose piece and it was one of the smaller ones that he would have used but he just left the old ones on because they weren’t in need of change. The lenses are the same-ish shape. However they were a little to big to fit in the frames. I tried and started to deform the frames.The way I resolved this problem is I set my oakley original lenses on top of these lenses and lined one side up. On the other side I traced the size of my original lenses onto the new lenses.I then used a dremel and cut off the extra lens. The box came with lenses, cleaning cloth, ear socks, and nose pieces as advertised. The lenses fit great, and the ear socks and mose pieces were very easy to put on. Keep in mind, these are for the Oakley HALF JACKET (the old school frames) and NOT for the Half Jacket 2.0 nor Flak Jacket. Look on the inside of your glasses and the frame will tell you what the product number is.With that being said, once again, these frames are great so far. Listing says lenses and sock kit. That's why I bought this item. Only the lenses were delivered. Very disappointed. That's my feedback.

They fit fine, look good, but there is some inconsistency in lens color density which you dont see in genuine article. So if you are perfectionist i would not buy.

I have an old pair of Oakley half jackets from 2008 ish, the lenses and rubber pieces all fit. Fit perfectly and easy to install!. A nice budget replacement.

All of the pieces fit perfectly. I was afraid my Oakleys were goners. I’ve tried other rubber pieces before but they looked cheap and I had to glue the nose pieces on. These fit as good as the originals. Not bad for 16 year old half jackets.

Nothing in the package fit the sunglasses correctly the lenses were too large as were the ear socks. These may be for the plastic frame glasses but not the metal frame glasses.

So happy with this purchase. Good thing I bought 2 of them. Other reviewers are right. After you install these lenses and rubber pads, the sunglasses actually looks and feels brand new! I loved my Oakley frame, but when the lenses got scratched, I kept it in storage. Now I can use them again, and they look so much better! If like me, you own a Half Jacket XL, these lenses will fit perfectly and are very highly recommended.

This is my second pair of lenses and I thought I would go with a different look. Love the price and the style but these particular ones change color as I move my head and for me that is what I don’t like. I also prefer the mirrored lenses the blue color ones I bought are not. Price is great though and they last!

Would be 5 stars but I received 2 left side stock kits so I have to have the old one on one side and new ones on the other. That's my feedback.

Then lenses do not fit, they are too small. They actually fall out of the Half Jacket Frames. Don’t waste your time or your money on this product

Fit and finish are excellent, the lenses are a tight fit but should be the ear socks and nose pieces fit like original. Overall highly impressed my Oakley's are new again.

These replacement lens were shipped without any flaws and fit my sunglasses perfectly. However, I could not use the rubber parts due to all the defects shown in the photos. My husband gave me these as a a gift to refurb my well-loved Oakleys that I wear almost everyday for the past 15 years. I did not get around to replacing the parts until today and it is now too late to return.

I ordered these to replace the lenses on my fishing glasses. They don't fit right and I think that's because I have the half jacket XLJ.and that's on me. But these lenses are not polarized and it is clearly printed on the lens "POLARIZED". I can live with the loose fit but they don't do what I wanted them to do.

Lens made things look distorted while looking through them. Practically made me sick to look through them. They don't stay in the frames very good either but the frames are old so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. I guess you get what you pay for.

I was going to replace my Oakley’s till I saw this kit and now they’re good as new. Fits well and lenses are great. Not too dark.

Prompt arrival. Good packaging. Challenging to find replacement for original half jacket. Appreciate what appears to be a quality product. Recommended.
