Slide clip of the OBEAM onto center of visor portion of hat and place ON/OFF button in the on switch. Address the golf ball in your putting set-up. Adjust the o'Beam unit up or down until he O' that is being emitted from the unit is visible on the center of the golf ball. This should be the only time you need to position the OBEAM as your stance and ball position should remain in the same position every time you address the ball. When completed turn the OBEAM off.

Not Helpful for Improving Putting Skills

This golf putting aid is a waste of money. It did not improve my putting skills at all. The only good thing is that it was easy to assemble. However, it was not effective in correcting my posture or alignment, which are essential aspects of putting. I would not recommend this product to anyone who is serious about improving their golf game. There are better options in the Sports and Outdoors category.

Pros
  • Helps improve putting accuracy and consistency.
Cons
  • Requires some time to get used to using it effectively.

Helps control head movement

I have trouble moving my head too often, both off the ball and up. I use this in combination with a 360 mirror and a BenderStik. I use it for both putting and full swings. Unfortunately, it can only be used indoors unless it's almost dark outside. I had a small problem and customer service was fast. Some reviews say the battery life is short. So far they have been fine. O'Beam uses size 675 hearing aid batteries.

Pros
  • Sports and outdoor activities
Cons
  • Almost never

Cool product, works as advertised

I love o'beam. It works as advertised and the customer service has been very good. The downside is that the battery life is terrible and if you forget to turn it off it will drain instantly. It probably only has around 2-4 hours of battery life before running out of juice; However, it uses typical small hearing aid batteries and is replaceable. Particularly useful for keeping your head still on the backswing, but I've since found that some great golfers (Luke Donald) move their heads on the…
