After reading the reviews I was hesitant. BUT every brand of Cherry Pitter has had bad reviews. lol i went with this tk it could hold 6 cherries at a time. Oooh, my first experience was about 100 pitted cherries and 100% of the pits came out in just one try. My cherries were 1 inch in radius. Just got it and we love it already! I had bought a bag of cherries which I didn't eat because no one wanted to deal with the mess and seeds. I didn't like that they just went bad so I ordered this little thing. This is one of my best purchases! As soon as it was delivered I started using it and my family ate the whole bag of cherries after I used them to remove the seeds. It is very easy to use and very easy to clean! Works well enough for large berries. 1-2 slips/hanging pits (dangling under a 6-box) are fairly typical. Here's what works best for me: place the berries stem-side up (stalks removed), slowly but firmly press the top down until it stops, then dip again once or twice.
