The assembly was not an easy task. It came with an allen wrench, screws, clamps, etc. The simply illustrated instructions used an allen wrench, so that's what I did. The wrench fits snugly into the groove of the screw heads and brackets. It was easy to adjust the sides and bottom. I then had to attach the lid and hinges to the basket. This is a really nice mid-sized laundry basket. All side and lid elements are carefully machined and pre-assembled, which greatly simplifies final assembly. All necessary utensils are included, as well as a laundry bag. There's even a pack of extra parts labeled "extra parts" so you don't get confused by the remaining (usually bad) stuff.
