O'Cedar Brands 8-1/2 Sponge Mop Refill: Durable and High-Quality Cleaning Head Replacement Review

I like the mop myself, I've had it for many years. The mop itself works great but the sponge part of the mop head will fall apart after a few uses leaving blue chunks of sponge on the floor requiring you to vacuum when dry. I wish the sponge was made of better materials, but because I like the mop itself, I end up buying poor quality nozzles. At least for now.

This was the second replacement pad I've used that just broke the metal band holding the sponge together at the top. It broke on the first try. I've ordered and used these heads before with no problems, so either the seller got a faulty batch or my mop somehow broke. However, I was able to apply the additive following the instructions with no problems and the mop has worked in the past. I'll try charging from a different source to see if charging is really an issue.

If you are using a Roll-o-matic mop this is the right replacement. Fast-n-easy and other models will not fit and will fall apart. All o'cedar sponge mop replacement heads are poorly made and overpriced. There's no such thing as value for money, but if this is your mop this is your replacement head because it fits snugly and will last longer. Some of the other models are better priced, but it's not a good deal if they don't fit because sometimes they don't even last long enough to finish a room…
