Ordered in April, the first bulb came out and it's only 3 months old. I'll try a second one, maybe it will last longer. I used to replace it with a locally bought one and it lasted at least 1 year or more. Saw other comments on this topic. If it breaks again after 3 months I will update this comment and definitely not order again.

I liked that it comes in a pack of two so I can easily replace it if that bulb burns out. But my main complaint is that it's not as bright as the original lamp. On the brightness scale, this lamp is definitely on the darker side. But for the low price it's ok and I can deal with it. As long as I can see what I'm getting out of the dryer, I'm fine.

I bought this item from this seller 23 months ago. And I just put the second bulb in the dryer 5 minutes ago. So I checked my email for the link on the receipt to come in and change the order. To have 2 more on hand in case the bulb burns out again. but I don't expect it to last a few more years as I'm in the process of changing my first lightbulb. ymmv etc. but for me it was very valuable.

Update in 14 months: I have used both lamps in 14 months. I feel like they should last longer. First Review: Does exactly what it's supposed to do, lights up the dryer. In use for about 3 weeks, everything is fine. The only thing I didn't like was the way the bulbs were packaged, they were just wrapped in bubble wrap and came in a box with other things that might break them in transit.

This 120v 10w bulb was an exact replacement for my GE dryer model #GTD42EASJ0WW. I have to admit, this is the first time I've seen a lightbulb inside a dryer that's completely exposed. There is no cover or guard to remove to replace this bulb. On my dryer model, the lightbulb is inside and above the door opening. The original did not burn.
