The layers must be separated, otherwise good

Leather and rubber can be glued together in the hole. You need to carefully separate them so that the hole matches the embroidered outline on the bottom of the glove. If you don't do this, your glove will come off and you will scratch your hand as shown in the picture. Not dangerous but I bought these gloves so I wouldn't tear my hand! Once you get a good fit, they feel so tight in the jam!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • So far so good

Started falling apart after two days

I climbed a total of 11 pitches in two days with these gloves and the velcro was already coming off and half worn out. I had the same gloves last fall and spring and lasted two full seasons, which equates to about 200 pitches. Of course they wear out over time, but not just after two days of use. I'm not sure if the quality of the specific gloves I received is poor or something else. Very annoying as now I have to buy new gloves again.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Modern

Durable but uncomfortable for fingers. Super small size

I like them because they are very strong, don't come loose at all and help with every climb. However, they are very small, which makes it a bit difficult to separate the fingers, especially when you put them on for the first time. I still give them 5 stars because they are solid and while they feel a bit tight I can easily multi pitch them. Maybe I have a smaller size for my hand. I read the comments and still got an extra small size because my hands are very small, but I think the next size up

It doesn't work without them!

I took them crevass climbing twice a week to Vedova, Wyoming for several months for several months where the granite is very rough and the gloves show no signs of wear. I've climbed cracks without gloves, just tape, and I'll never go back. Gluing is a waste of time, it takes time and the tape never sticks as well as I would like. I also love the extra support and padding these gloves give me. My friend also has a pair and loves them too, as do many other climbers I've met. I heard that Black…
