Disc received 4 days early and installed with no problems. Immediately after loading, Disk Utility recognized the drive as a standard 251GB Apple internal SSD, but failed to initialize. A quick call to their business number and in a second I was erasing the SSD and preparing it for a Time Machine restore. I've only been using the drive for a few hours, but I can tell anyone reading this that this drive is faster than my standard 128GB drive.

After trying a 480GB SSD from OWC (Aura Pro X) and being unhappy with the severe battery drain, this unit solved the problem and got me to normal power consumption in my MacBook back Per 13 inches. I had to reduce the amount of storage from 480 GB to 256 GB, but that was enough for me.

Don't expect to get what you ordered… They don't prepay even if they say it is "prepay”. You have to pay for this. They send the item randomly. You're lucky that Apple made... Samsung, Sandis or Toshiba. This is from Tronics Center with bad reviews, not the product itself. Be careful who you buy from.

Absolutely perfect condition. The disk showed no signs of wear. After installing the MacBook Pro, it started and recovered with Time Machine with no problems. Thanks very much !
