"Solid Socket for Automotive Work

Based on our own experience this socket is a great addition to our tool collection. it's well-made and durable, perfect for automotive work. The deep design allows us to reach difficult places with ease .The only downside is the limited size options available. Overall, we highly recommend this socket for any mechanic or DIYer..

very good bushing - had a noticeable nick in it

Fits perfectly on my 2003 BMW 325i differential input nut (E46). It appears to be a very good, solid, thin-walled rosette with a good coating (my research has shown that many of them are thin-walled, in fact they are not). It had a decent notch on the front edge of the base (and a smaller notch on the back of the base) which appears to be a manufacturing defect and shouldn't affect its performance in any way - that's the only reason I gave it 4 stars .
