Tried this and the Lisle version. This one was longer and had a lower fit, not to mention it was tight and didn't play at all. My switch tripped right after after getting stuck trying to do it with a wrench, the socket showed me how easy it was with the right tool. It's well worth the few bucks it's worth and has now been added to my toolbox for future use.

Wow! I didn't even know it existed! And I didn't know I needed one until I had to remove the oil pressure manifold from a John Deere 4020. This is a must have outlet. I am an ASE mechanic and have a GMC Sierra 03 5.3L. I had to replace the oil lift unit once when I bought the truck and had to pull out the upper intake manifold to replace it, all the other oil pressure sensor connectors (8+) I have don't slip over the old sensor. This tool is suitable for oil level gauges. I say fits in quotes because I had to make some changes to get the tool working. Because of these modifications, I only gave this tool 3 stars. First of all, this repair, although simple, is extremely complex. Mainly because there was literally no way to physically see the oil gauge on my 2007 Avalanche.
