Great for use with cutting tools

After my husband ruined two of my plastic rulers I decided to give him a metal ruler to use while he worked on his vinyl loom. All requirements were thus fully met. It's a good weight so it stays in place. The cork on the bottom prevents slipping. Around the great ruler.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • So far so good

You get what you pay for cheap ruler

I like that it is longer than 12 inches and double dimension. small parts are lost. If returning it wasn't so difficult during the pandemic I would consider sending it back. Nevertheless, I will immediately look for another line.

Pros
  • delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Something different

I break plastic and wooden rulers all the time

I usually hit my kids for their misdeeds with a plastic or wooden ruler and it breaks about every two weeks. Cashiers always give me funny looks when I take my kids to school and buy 20 rulers. This metal allows me to save money and not go out as much. The cork side is ideal for younger children.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Lightweight but works well!

After some plastic rulers broke off during use I wanted something more durable! ), but no problems with it so far. Unlike some cheaper ones, this one has a stopper to prevent slipping. Ideal for drawing likes and cutting with a knife or Xacto blade.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • I will add later

SHARP EDGES Caution! Raw, thin metal ruler will cut you

Not only were the edges razor sharp, there were small steel burrs at the corners that would have easily cut me had I not been extra careful. I compared it to another steel ruler I have and the markings and dimensions are very light and difficult to read. Especially when it's used on my drafting table and the light is on it, it's almost impossible to see the marks easily. The ruler is also a lot thinner than my other ruler so unfortunately I have to give this ruler a thumbs down. In addition…

Nice line, so why not 5 stars?

ruler is ruler. An inch is an inch on any ruler unless someone came to work drunk that day. 15 inches is a nice feature compared to 12. I would have preferred 16 inches but that's fine so nothing to complain about here. I give it a 4 because the cork on the back of the metal doesn't sit close enough to the edge. Great for measuring but not great as a ruler for drawing lines. The cork lifts it slightly off the paper, allowing the graphite on the pencil to be drawn in an indirect line under the…

Pros
  • measuring and marking tools
Cons
  • unreliable

Can be handy if you need to measure a cylinder.

This product is misleading. I grabbed some art supplies and grabbed this in a hurry. My fault, but product ads trick the user into buying something they don't need. This is not a stainless steel ruler. This is the thinnest piece of stainless steel attached to a thin piece of cork board. You can fold and bend this ruler in half. Zero use for me. The markings along the edge will be inconsistent because the cork isn't as wide as the steel, leaving a small gap between the steel and the surface the…

  • Rulers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

They are great for my use without measurements.

I bought two of these cords for an unusual purpose and they work great. I need a TV antenna that can receive all major digital broadcast channels on the network. Here in the Los Angeles Basin (within 10 miles of the towers on Mount Wilson) several stations are broadcasting on their legacy VHF channels. However, most antennas sold today are actually only designed to receive UHF channels. This allows for a smaller antenna, maybe just a plastic overlay with metal foil conductors embedded in it…

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks
