The very first time I've used it to tow a small SUV with the front wheels stuck in the mud. Good thing I had a rescue harness with me. I didn't have an 18,500 lb load, my winch was only rated for 12,000 lbs and was spinning when it broke.

I used this synthetic rope to replace steel cable on a 12,000 lb winch. First I tried another brand of oil but it ran over the winch drum. Your rope made 6 rows on the drum and left enough room on the drum. I was able to get all 95 feet on the drum.

I was very happy to replace the metal wire with this synthetic rope. It worked absolutely fantastic. Very easy to install, excellent hook at the end. The quality of the rope turned out to be quite good. unfortunately less than a month of lugging and it happened the cable started to fray. Not 100% sure why this happened. I use the sheath that fits on the rope wherever the rope can rub against something.

Looks like a good product but haven't used it yet. My problem is the missing instructions. It says the mounting eye is removable when not in use in your winch, but doesn't list the 'correct' method of removal. Presumably you cut it off, but then you have the outer shell loosely surrounding the inner core and it's not clear if you need to melt it to hold it together or something else. What a difference from my usual braided cable. My regular cable started to wear out and kept twisting. This synthetic rope can even be used at extreme angles that could damage traditional metal ropes. The only problem I had, and it was a small one, was winding it onto the spool. It got a little tight as the winch pulled the last few feet. I'll take it with me all day and if I try to raise it a little more carefully it might get better. The product is well packaged, hook, stopper and plastic rope come in a nice bag. The rope seems to be of good quality, I've only used it once since installing it, no plowing problems. I like the protective sleeve that slides over the rope. I didn't measure the sleeve but it seemed like 4-5 feet to me, definitely good rope protection. I would now recommend this rope. I just replaced the wire rope on my winch after a VERY few minutes followed by a few swearing at the winch wire as something it can't do. .I love synthetic rope, it's so much easier to work with and my delicate hands will love it. Cable stopper so that the cable loop does not get tangled in the fairlead. The rope also had a very nice feature - a protective sleeve which I had to remove as my pulley was too small to roll up. Overall, this kit is exceptional value.

This is my second plastic ATV rope. The first (other brand) still works 6 years later and its build quality is half that of this one. This one is good because it has a nylon sleeve for the first 4 feet, the linkage is at least 5 times the length of my old rope, it has heat shrink tubing on the end of the drum (I cut off the grommet) which makes it MUCH easier to pull it off through the hole in the drum and it also comes with a carabiner, winch and nylon accessory pouch (better than the zipped…
