Soft collars are great!

Bought to use the WAY off-road, eg when anchoring a boat! The perfect way to attach a nylon damper to an anchor chain. I haven't used it yet but it will be perfect!

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • The list will be long.

These are excellent high strength synthetic staples

They are amazing. Safer and better than metal shackles with incredible strength. Unlike other cheap models, they have the strength of a shrunken shackle. Good quality and excellent value for money.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Quality

Somebody call this guy 🏅

I attempted an impossible task using my F250, traction harness, 31500lb tree rescue and one of those struts to pull out a Freightliner water truck that had sunk onto its axles. Mission Failed: The 3 inch heavy duty grill failed and this strut held tight. Very impressive.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Nothing

I was alerted by the published weight

Advertised as a 34,000lb shackle but the label says the shackle is only rated for 24,000lb. I will say that the customer service response was fantastic and immediate. They explained there was a typo on the label and sent me a much better pair to ease my concerns. 1 star product, 5 star customer service.

Pros
  • . Few competitors
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Light weight compared to steel, more than strong enough for the job

Highly recommend! I had the opportunity to try out soft shackles stuck in the rocks at the Rauschbach. They work just as well as any steel shackle I've used that has the same rating; With a 9500 lb. Warn winch, he easily held the winch hook on the boom strap, even when the winch was pulling at full power.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Has flaws

Bought because I like the idea of soft temples instead of metal D rings. A lot of my buddies said you can't, don't trust them, rope is nowhere near as good as steel. Based on reviews, YouTube videos and general understanding of the materials, I've chosen these. The initial hope is value for money. The first impression upon receipt is that they look good but do not affect the carrying capacity of the actual product. First use - worked well. but one of the knots began to untie on the third use…

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Compatibility

Soft bonds - strong as hardened steel, with no risk of decapitation.

Well that made me buy the first soft hangers. Absolute coupling perfection, no risk of broken metal clips under load. My original shackles are worth £58,000 which is admittedly too much to restore light trucks and jeeps. I bought these padded shackles as a spare when I bought additional tow straps to better distribute the load across both tow hooks (not just one). At 30,000+ pounds everyone should be more than strong enough. But I use two and one 8ft strap to connect both tow hooks to the main…

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • High price
