I bought this unit from Revain on 09/26/2019. I don't like the fact that I turned it on yesterday 30th August 2020 and nothing happened. He was dead. The possibility of contacting the manufacturer does not seem to be available to me. Will Revane take him back? Most likely not. Do not buy this product because if the product fails, the Chinese manufacturer will hide behind a wall of only Chinese.

There was a weird problem with the first one I got - it only saw the first 320GB of the drive. A 320 GB hard drive is read correctly. If the drive was 1TB, it would not mount due to low-level drive errors. After reformatting, you'll get a working hard drive, but it's only 320GB. It was a strange problem. I almost sent it back for the money but in the end I decided to give it another try. I'm glad I did because the second one works great!

I bought this HDD cage to access data from another HDD. Connects fairly easily, but sometimes doesn't recognize drives in the bay when my iMac is on. It is claimed to have cloning capabilities but I haven't tried it yet. The inconsistent detection bothers me so much that I don't want to risk losing my data.
