🥶 Copper Ice Bucket: Old Dutch International Old Dutch, 3 Quart – A Classic Necessity Review

This is the only "forged copper ice bucket" I could find on the web. I love this hammered copper look. I drink copper all day. I love it. The ice bucket is cute but it takes a real man to remove the lid. It may be easier to remove the lid over time, but I'm afraid the grip will loosen if not break over time when trying to remove the lid. I'm not sure if that's how it should be or if it's a bug. A bit disappointed but needed for a party this weekend. I'm just going to leave it open and not cover with a lid, which just means the ice cream will melt faster.

This ice bucket is just great, shame it arrived in such poor condition and not working well. Inside is a white plastic insert that is dirty as if it has been used. At the ends were pliers. The bucket itself was scratched. And the worst thing is that when you open the lid, the whole liner goes with it. I won't lay anything out for my guests and let them decipher how it works. So disappointed!

I ordered this with some trepidation as some of the reviews were very negative. But others were extremely positive, so I took a chance. And I'm very satisfied! It's a very nice ice bucket and the tongs that come with it are solid and pretty (and for some reason charmed my old cat. I had to fight to get them back!) I took a chance! Thank you Revane! We ordered one of these and noticed discoloration in the copper plating on the lid. Too bad I didn't take a picture but it was quite noticeable and couldn't be erased. We returned the first one and they sent us a second ice bucket. She had the exact same problem with the trim. We returned the second one and the seller refunded us the money. Disappointed we couldn't get one that looked right but happy with the customer service.

I really like this ice bucket. It is very pretty and looks great on a decorated table. However, the white plastic liner and waterlogged base are deteriorated with cuts and dents. He even looked dirty. I had to clean it out and I was still a little nauseous. I had fun this weekend and had no way to give it back. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for that.
