This kettle looks like grandma's old cast-iron pans. Follow the instructions and boil water in it a few times before using. Mine did get rusty on the inside of the base after the first use, but that type of rust doesn't cause botulism or anything like that, so I just get some extra iron with my coffee in the morning!

Bought 3, not tried as gifts. Arrived on time, very cute and small. Everything looks and feels good, no cracks or breaks. The only thing I would change or alter is the little handle on the lid to make it a little easier. I have very small hands and fingers, I can't imagine anyone with big hands and fingers trying to play around with this.

I bought this to use at home on my stove but was surprised when I realized I could use it around the campfire and can use when camping. It's very small, so don't let the "mini" fool you. It holds about 1 cup of liquid but is perfect for 1 serving! The material is very high quality and very durable (my toddler dropped it on my tile and it didn't break). I would recommend this to anyone who wants a smaller kettle or wants to have tea while camping.
