It was big! suitable for quilting

I saw this Olfa rug in my quilting class and used it for a project. Our teacher recommended us to buy this size. I had no idea it was that BIG - enough space for the biggest project. It was packaged securely and I was able to use the box for another project - I felt like I really got a bonus! The carpet is large and of good quality. It came out a lot cheaper than in the store. I can't wait to start my quilting project with this rug - lots of room to trim. Plus, the measurement lines are easy to

Olfa I will never cheat on you again

I have had an Olfa rug as a dedicated seamstress for all of my family's clothing needs for many years. Times have changed and I no longer sew or craft our dresses, so I sold them. Boy I'm sorry! A few years after finally getting rid of it, I decided to start leathercrafting. i needed it back But I was in a whole new area and the costs were high so I decided to cut corners, see what I did there? I decided on an olfa cutting mat from a well-known scissor manufacturer. WOW! With my first cut, I…

good but smelly and not double sided

The rug arrived in a flat box and had a strange smell. I wiped it down with diluted rubbing alcohol and let it air out for a few days and it's fine now. If that doesn't work, I would try baking soda paste. The printed measurement marks are only on one side, so the term "two-sided" is misleading. Also, I didn't notice that the grid is only on the edges of the mat and not in the center of the field (e.g. Fiskars use dots in the field of their mats to help you align). If it doesn't fit the edge of

I think Revain should accept a refund, refund my money and also pay me extra for sending me that toxic piece of junk. I'm just lucky that I have a couple of industrial hepa/charcoal air purifiers. At first I was quite satisfied. It's thinner than other mats I have, so I just used it as a first line of defense and put a second mat on top. I admired until I sat down at the table and worked 10-15 minutes. The first symptom is itchy eyes. Then the skin on your face itches. Then burning in the eyes…

THE SMELL YOU CAN'T GET AWAY CAN'T STAY IN YOUR HOME

So I got it quick. It is so well made and perfect for my needs. I was so excited to receive it. BUT. This thing smells so bad you can't use it at home. The smell spreads throughout the room, and the longer it's there, the smell spreads throughout my house. Now I might have a bad one, I don't know, but it's in my garage. I can't use it here. I contacted the seller who informed me that they had contacted the retailer and was told that they were aware that the materials that make up this rug can…
