Olson CP30000BL Coping Blade Assortment Review

Ordered 2 sets, neither had the thin blade in their pocket. Only 2 honey, 1 rough and metal blades. I would probably never use a thin blade, so I'm fine with that. Just for your information.

The good thing about this line of blades was that I didn't have to buy multiple sets of blades but two of them broke when working with pressure treated wood. Too bad, but good value for money.

I want the teeth on the wooden blades to be slightly offset so the blade doesn't get stuck. Mild steel 16 inches thick and a metal blade took about half an inch. The teeth are worn out.

Love the variety in this set and they cut well as long as they last. Like others, I too had problems with pins breaking - once when pulling the disc, once when sawing. I needed a rough blade but eventually went back to the thin blade that came with my saw. It turned out to be a waste of money.

I had a hard time figuring out if these blades would fit my Olson saw. Nothing really indicated what kind of saw these blades were made for. Maybe I just don't have enough experience with a jigsaw. The blades are good, I used a medium and thin blade. They both worked fine. The other two blades are not what I needed. On the back of the box is a description of each blade and what really helped. I now have product numbers to order the blades I need, not a generic pack.
