🔪 Superior Cutting Performance: Olson Saw SP46500 Spiral Scroll Saw Blade for Precise and Intricate Cuts Review

Received these blades today. I had to flatten the ends to fit my saw, but it was easy enough. I made several test cuts and was pleased with the results. It takes a little getting used to, but I was able to make some pretty tricky cuts.

Probably not the blades fault (probably my dexterity in handling) but I couldn't cut a straight line in 1/4" wood with these blades. The slightest movement in any direction meant an "edge tear" at the finish, I went back to my normal woods.

My adult son uses them to make intricate jewelry out of many woods and some plastics and resins. The spiral set gives him a lot more freedom to express his artistic skills and create really cool stuff. They sell very well. My use is more general, they save time and are easy to use.

Needed high quality spiral blades to easily make 360 degree cuts with my jigsaw. These blades are in excellent condition! I could easily cut through half an inch of cedar. The blade quality is also pretty strong considering how thin these things are. Olson saw blades are the best I have seen.

These knives work well in any wood and cut evenly in all directions. They're a great accessory for any pinless jigsaw and I recommend them to anyone who needs superior cutting accuracy. The only problem with 360-degree blades is that they're not good at cutting straight lines, which is why you end up with multiple blades in your desk drawer. 100% recommended. Probably great blades. However, they are not compatible with my jigsaw. Wen 3922 requires a flat end. I can insert an end by finding the narrowest part of the blade. However, the way these blades spiral as soon as you insert one end always tells you that the other end is too wide for a Ven blade holder. I retrieve them and look for flat-tipped spiral blades. Addendum: Olson has flat ended spiral blades that fit my Wen 3921. I'll change my rating to 5 stars assuming both blades cut the same. All
